Chair's Welcome Message
On behalf of the Association of School Business Administrators (ASBA) Limited Board, I am delighted to welcome you to our website.
ASBA’s vision is to be known as the leading professional organisation for School Business Administrators, promoting and driving improvement and business excellence in Australasian schools.
We seek to reach this vision through our mission to support our eight regionally based Chapters to promote business excellence. Specifically, ASBA offers and promotes high quality professional development opportunities, enables collegial networking, is a leader in governance championing, and supports other educational bodies with advocacy and support for the education sector.
Our website is a key enabler of our mission and provides a platform for ASBA to support its members in their professional responsibilities and to promote the work of ASBA more widely. Our website is continually evolving to support the needs of our members and all who have a passion for the education of young people, I commend it to you.
During 2016 ASBA Chapters will be hosting a range of professional development activities, including their biennial Chapter Conferences. The following chapter conference dates have been set and I highly recommend them as outstanding professional development opportunities:-

|NSW & ACT: 26 - 28 September 2016, Canberra Grammar School
|New Zealand: 3 - 4 November 2016, Wellington|
You might consider attending a Chapter Conference in another region if you happen to be traveling, or just see an exciting conference program that justifies a trip of its own! Training and PD Subsidies
ASBA Limited / AIM Diploma of ManagementASBA Limited is committed to supporting the development of its members and have partnered with Australian Institute of Management (AIM) to provide you with the Diploma of Leadership and Management, specifically selected to support the development of Business Administrator's management and leadership capabilities.
The Diploma of Leadership and Management through AIM is a nationally recognised management qualification that explores in greater depth the knowledge and skills required to be an effective manager and helps to develop practical skills to plan, execute and evaluate your own work and the work of your team. The Diploma comprises 8 units across a range of subjects, including team performance, customer service, operational planning and performance management.
ASBA will reimburse 20% of the costs of your Diploma upon completion. Just forward your tax invoices and evidence of completion to the Chief Executive Officer at email@example.com.
