President's Message

Welcome to the South Australia and Northern Territory Chapter of the Association of School Business Administrators Inc (ASBA (SA & NT)).

The main aim of ASBA (SA & NT) is to provide professional development and networking opportunities for Business Managers, Bursars and Accountants in the South Australian and Northern Territorian Non-Government Schools sector.  Currently we have approximately 150 members working in Non-Government Schools, including Independent, Lutheran, Anglican and Catholic Schools.

With the invaluable support of sponsors, four professional development seminars and/or conferences are available to members each year.  Every second year, ASBA (SA & NT) members are encouraged to attend the ASBA Biennal Conference, hosted on a rotating basis by the states of Australia and New Zealand.  Each alternate year, ASBA (SA & NT) organises a residential conference on topical issues for its members.

If you have recently joined a school in the role of a Business Manager, Bursar or Accountant, please complete the enquiry form on this website and we will contact you shortly with more information.  Membership attaches to the individual, and not the school they work for, so if you change schools please contact us with your new details.

I acknowledge the support of the ASBA (SA & NT) Committee, who willingly volunteer to guide the Association to achieve its mission.  The administration of the chapter is supported by an Executive Support Officer.  Members of the Committee can be contacted to assist our current members and future members.
