Welcome to the Association of School Business Administrators (Qld) Inc (ASBAQ) website.
ASBAQ has been operating for almost 50 years and has over 300 members from non-government schools across Queensland. Our association has 6 main objectives:
Actively pursuing the achievements of efficiency and effectiveness in the business management of schools;
To advance and encourage the professional development of members;
To liaise, cooperate and maintain harmonious working relation with School associations and other appropriate bodies;
To promote the maintenance of ethical standards of conduct in the profession of School Business Administration;
To support the objectives of the Association of School Business Administrators Australia Limited (ASBA); and
To foster good fellowship between Business Administrators in Schools.
ASBAQ members enjoy professional development and networking opportunities in the form of quarterly statewide professional learning days, regional group networks and an annual conference (either a State or National conference, held in alternating years). In addition, members have access to many other benefits provided by ASBA Limited. These include subsidised and/or specialised courses, webinars, roadshows and a mentoring program.
