Accommodation
ASBA can book accommodation at hotels on your behalf as part of the registration process. Details of the choices can be found on the Accommodation page here. The price rates are per night, in AUD and GST inclusive.
Note that:
~ Your credit card details are required to secure your booking.
~ Bookings are subject to availability.
~ Breakfast is NOT included unless otherwise stated.
To secure your accommodation, a one night's deposit by credit card is required by the hotel. This payment will be forwarded to the hotel and will be credited to your room account. Delegates must settle the balance of their account with the hotel concerned upon check in or check out, depending on the individual hotel. If accommodation payments are not received by 18 August 2017, your room will be released back to the hotel. ASBA does not take responsibility for accommodation if deposits are not received by this date.
Privacy
In registering for this conference, relevant details (name/school) will be incorporated into a delegate list for the benefit of all delegates, and also may me made available (if necessary) to parties directly related to the Conference including venues, accommodation providers, , sponsors, key suppliers and future Conferences. Your name and and contact information may be used by the event manager and other approved stakeholders, for marketing and managing this and future events of this type.
If you wish to be excluded from the above, including the delegate list, please select the relevant check box within the registration process. Once your online registration has been completed, you will received an automated email to confirm your registration. If an email is not received within 7 days, please contact ASBA as your registration may not have been received properly.
Terms and Conditions
Email Communication
By providing your email address on the registration form, you agree to the event manager and other approved stakeholders communication with you via email to market and manage this and future events of this type. You may opt out at any time.
Onsite Photography
Photos from the Conference may also be published on the website or other marketing materials. Please notify the onsite photographer if you do not wish to have your photo taken.
Cancellation Policy
Deadline: 18 August 2017
Cancellations must be notified by email to office@asba.asn.au. Cancellations made by 18 August 2017 will result in a full refund less AUD150 to cover administration costs. As an alternative to cancellation, your registration may be transferred to another person without incurring any cost penalty. ASBA must be advised in writing of any alterations or transfers.
Cancellation of Accommodation
Deadline: 18 August 2017
Deposits
Accommodation will not be confirmed until a deposit of one night's tariff is received by credit card. See above under 'Accommodation' for further details.
Cancellations
No accommodation deposit will be refunded after 18 August 2017. Delegates who confirm attendance and provide credit card details but do not advise of cancellation before 18 August 2017 will incur charges for the 'no-show' rate, as penalised by the hotel.This charge is calculated as the room rate per night multiplied by the dates booked and secured. Please ensure that accommodation dates are correct at time of booking. All changes to accommodation reservations are to be made with the Conference Secretariat and NOT directly to the hotel. After 18 August 2017, please contact the hotel directly for any changes to your booking, keeping in mind that the cancellation date has passed and cancelling or shortening of stays will be charged in full.
